Scoring Methodology

Every score on this site is an editorial score computed from a published rubric — not user reviews. Where independent review data exists (G2, Clutch, Trustpilot), we show it alongside ours with the date we checked it.

The rubric

Each listing is scored 0–5 on five criteria. The total is a weighted average, computed — never hand-assigned. Scores are set from recorded research evidence (vendor documentation, published pricing, third-party review platforms, funding and customer announcements), each with a source URL and the date we checked it.

CriterionWeightWhat it measures
Coverage20%How many AI engines or visibility channels the product or service genuinely covers (verified against vendor documentation).
Capability30%Product or service depth and maturity: feature set, scale signals (funding, customers, team), and delivery track record.
Pricing transparency15%Whether real prices are published. Anchors: 5.0 full public tiers; 4.0-4.5 mostly public; 3.5 entry prices or project minimums published; 1.5 not public (third-party estimates do not count as vendor transparency).
Evidence20%Independent proof: third-party review platforms (G2, Clutch, Trustpilot), published research, named clients, case studies.
Best-for fit15%How well the offering serves the audience we recommend it for.

What our scores are not

  • They are not user-review averages — we have no on-site review system.
  • They are not based on paid placement. Sponsored placements, where they appear, are labeled and never change a listing's score or rank.
  • Where independent review data exists, we link it directly (with review counts and the date checked) so you can weigh it yourself.

Update policy

Every listing shows a "Last updated" date that changes only when its content substantively changes. Facts carry source URLs with checked dates. If a vendor changes pricing or positioning, we update on the next research pass — corrections can be requested any time via the editorial contact.

Editorial independence

Sponsored or affiliate relationships never change editorial scores or ranking order. Affiliate links are marked and disclosed, and any sponsored placement is clearly labeled wherever it appears.
